#20-Tony Stewarts victory gave owner Joe Gibbs a new distinction. It was the first time Gibbs-owned cars had ever won two races in a row. Stewart followed up his victory at Infineon Raceway with his first official victory in a restrictor-plate race. First time in 14 years, said Gibbs. Its hard to do. CORRECTION: Stewart’s back-to-back triumphs at Sonoma and Daytona marked the fourth time in his seven-year Nextel Cup career that he has logged back-to-back wins. In 1999, Stewart’s second career Nextel Cup win at Phoenix in November was followed one week later by his win at Homestead.
