NASCAR announced today that Jay Guy, crew chief for the No. 47 Ford driven by Jon Wood in the NASCAR Busch Series, has been fined $1,000 for an infraction last weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. Guy was fined for a fuel cell vent hose that exceeded the specified maximum length, a violation of Section 12-4-1 (Actions detrimental to stock car racing) and Section 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used in the event do not conform to NASCAR Rules) of the NASCAR Busch Series rulebook.(NASCAR PR)(7-13-2005)
