Bobby Hamilton: “Danny Gill was released from PPI on Monday and I scooped him right up for BHR. I recommended him there to work with my kid and that shows how much faith I have in him. He is being added to our roster to be extra hands for the engineering guys, not as a crew chief or to take anyone’s position. I know he has a ton of talent and I have always believed in Danny’s ability. He has worked for me in the past and we seemed to run really well together. Danny is a go getter; he demands results and works hard to make strides in racing. I think he did a tremendous job with Bobby Jr.’s program at PPI, but also don’t think you can make a huge difference in only a few races. It takes time in this sport and you have to grow on what you are learning. That takes trials and tribulations and a lot of persistence.”(BHR PR)(9-11-2005)
