Starting with this weekend’s Busch Series event at Dover International Speedway, the #60 Ford driven by Carl Edwards will be sporting a different look. For the Dover Race weekend (September 24), Charter Communications will take an associate role on the car with CNN’s red & white logo appearing along with the car’s usual purple and yellow colors. CNN will be the primary sponsor on the car for this event, featuring a dedicated paint scheme with prominent CNN branding. “We are thrilled to serve as the primary sponsor of Charter’s #60 car to show our support of an important affiliate partner and NASCAR,” says Scot Safon, senior vice president of marketing and promotion for CNN.
