Peak Performance Motorsports owner Jeff Stec announced today that NASCAR veteran Kevin Lepage will take over the driving duties for the #66 EAS Ford at Dover this weekend. Lepage opened the season with a stellar run in the Daytona 500 [in the #37 Dodge]. After qualifying ninth, Lepage battled all day and picked up an impressive eight-place finish. He has made 14 starts in the Nextel Cup Series this season. “This is a great opportunity for me, and as a racer, it’s my goal to be on the track racing every opportunity I get,” said Lepage. “I want to thank Jeff and his crew for working with me. I’m hopeful we can put together a solid race this weekend. I’ve had some success at Dover and I believe my experiences in the past will be helpful to the team.”(PSE-3 / Peak Performance Motorsports), no word if Mike Garvey will be back in the #66 at Talladega the following week.(9-21-2005)
