Speed Channel’s NASCAR This Morning is reporting that the #12 alltel Dodge of Ryan Newman, went threw pre-race inspection Sunday morning at Kansas Speedway a couple times, but couldn’t pass as a left rear quarter panel height was too high, after being given 5 minutes to try to fix the problem and still couldn’t pass, the team was told to go to the back of the line and try again and be the final car thru tech. The team can work on the car since Newman will go to the back before the drop of the green flag since the team already changed transmissions after qualifying. Assume he passed as didn’t hear any followup.(10-9-2005)
