Kertus Davis must have said all the right things in his interview. Less than 24 hours after his first meeting with FitzBradshaw Racing, Davis worked out a deal Friday to drive the teams #12 Dodge in next weekends Busch Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Davis said he was contacted by team owner Armando Fitz and Dodge on Thursday, because of what he and his father had accomplished on a shoestring budget. Davis best finish so far this season was a 10th at Talladega in April. He also qualified 11th at Pikes Peak in July.(Spartanburg Herald via BGNRacing.com)(10-29-2005)
