While in Southern California last week to promote the Nextel Cup race at California Speedway in Fontana on Feb. 26, Carl Edwards filmed a small role for an episode of 24 [Fox, Monday’s at 9pm/et/Jayski Fave] scheduled to air April 3. “The best part was they gave me a line to read,” Edwards said. “The cameras started to roll, and as I was walking over to shake the other character’s hand, I realized my palms were a little sweaty, which doesn’t happen very often.”(USA Today)(2-7-2006)
