As part of Alltel’s “Go Racing with Ryan” promotion, NASCAR Driver Ryan Newman made a visit to the North Raleigh Alltel retail store and surprised Louisburg resident, Sherwood Wood. Wood will receive a trip to the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond International Raceway on September 9 and have the opportunity to get his name on the #12 Alltel Dodge for that race. Newman will surprise other random Alltel customers throughout the season at various Alltel retail stores when the Alltel Dodge show car is in town.
