Bill Lester will attempt to make the second start of his Nextel Cup career this weekend at Michigan, driving the #23 Waste Management car for Bill David Racing. Lester became the first African-American to qualify for a Cup race since Willy T. Ribbs did so at MIS in 1986. Lester qualified 19th at Atlanta in March.
