Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine will again adorn the Kirk Shelmerdine Racing #27 Chevy for Saturday’s Pepsi 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Positive fan response to the initial partnership between Catdaddy and Shelmerdine was so overwhelming, the additional race was added to the sponsorship agreement. Later this season Catdaddy will be on the car for the Oct. 14 Bank of America 500, also at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Additional races could be added. “It’s great to have Catdaddy Carolina Moonshine back on board for Daytona,” Shelmerdine said. “The reaction to the sponsorship at Charlotte, inside and outside the garage, was very positive, and because of it, there’s a lot of interest in our efforts; the exposure really elevated our race team.
