Hermie Sadler he hopes Total Nonstop Action (TNA) can serve as his primary sponsor for between 6-8 Cup races in 2007. I definitely think thats an area theyre interested in, Sadler said, and Im certainly interested in partnering up with them any chance I can get since Im already in business with them anyway, so its just a natural fit. Sadler currently runs the United Wrestling Federation (UWF), and through that he is licensed to run TNA house (non-televised) shows. TNA enjoyed the benefit of forging a relationship with Sadler this past April, as the promotion received extensive media attention after Sadler teamed with FOX announcer Jeff Hammond and Team 3D to face TNA Champion Jeff Jarrett, Showtime Eric Young and Americas Most Wanted in an eight-man lumberjack match. TNA confirmed Sadlers assertion that no official agreements have been forged between the two for 07, although it was clearly noted that the relationship is strong. So far in 2006, Sadler has run six Cup races with the MBA Motorsports team he co-owns in the #00 Aarons Dream Machine Ford/Chervy. That sponsorship came via Michael Waltrip Racing, which will field Toyotas in 2007. Although a Japanese automaker is coming into NASCAR and Japan is arguably the worlds biggest hotbed for professional wrestling, Sadler said there have been no conversations with Toyota about him or TNA. Sadler said preferably the 6-8 races would come around the time of pay-per-view events to give TNA the most bang for its buck.(Long Island Press)
