Blewett wins Modified race at NHIS; Stewart 9th; Edwards 39th:

John Blewett, III of Howell, N.J. drove to his second consecutive NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory of the 2006 season in the New England 100 at New Hampshire International Speedway. Blewett passed James Civali of Meriden, Conn. on the final lap, just prior to the final caution period occurring, and won the race in a yellow/checkered flag finish. Reggie Ruggiero was third, followed by Eddie Flemke and Mike Stefanik. Two Nextel Cup drivers ran the race with Tony Stewart finishing 9th and Carl Edwards 39th.
