A number of Nextel Cup and Busch series teams tested Tuesday and Wednesday at VIRginia International Raceway in preparation for the upcoming races at Watkins Glen International on August 5-6. On Tuesday, Evernham Motorsports (#9, Kasey Kahne; #10, Scott Riggs; #19, Jeremy Mayfield), Joe Gibbs Racing (#11, Denny Hamlin; #18, J.J. Yeley), Roush Racing (#99, Boris Said) and Furniture Row Racing (#78, Max Papis) ran on the 2.25-mile VIR North Course. On Wednesday, Hendrick Motorsports (#5, Kyle Busch) and CJM Racing (#72, Dale Quarterley) were joined by Busch teams from McGill Motorsports (#36, Max Papis) and Biagi-DenBeste Racing (#4, Auggie Vidovich II).(VIRginia International Raceway)(8-3-2006)
