DEI Drivers Plan to Split Busch Ride in 2007: UPDATE 2:

Paul Menard said Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway that Dale Earnhardt Inc. would likely run a full-time Busch Series team in 2007 for himself, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Martin Truex Jr.(SceneDaily.com)(8-4-2006)

UPDATE 2: Truex will be running in the GFS Marketplace 400 at Michigan amid rumors he’s going to run the Busch Series again but not alone. Dale Earnhardt Inc. plans to put a car on the track with himself Truex, Paul Menard and a driver to be named later, perhaps the out-of-work Steve Park. The four drivers will race for the owner’s points championship. It appears that only the fourth driver is in question.(Asbury Park Press)(8-22-2006)
