During the NASCAR Busch Series first off weekend in 16 weeks, Shane Huffman, driver of the No. 88 Navy Accelerate Your Life Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS will not kick back and relax like many of his fellow drivers. Instead, Huffman will use his downtime to make the first of several upcoming trips to acclimate him to the life of a sailor in the U.S. Navy. On Wednesday, Huffman and several of his #88 team members, including crew chief Wes Ward, will fly up to Norfolk, Va., where they will board a Navy transport plane that will take them to land on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. They will spend the next day and a half touring the carrier to get a feel for what life is like for sailors at sea.(JR Motorsports PR)(9-12-2006)
