AM: #07-Clint Bowyer’s blown motor occurred in turn four as he was about to pass #36-Jeremy Mayfield. Went down low and all of a sudden it went “boom”. #96-Tony Raines slammed the turn 4 wall saying his car got tight and he looped it then went along for the ride. He damaged three of the four corners of his Chevy. #84-A.J. Allmendinger said he felt some sort of vibration and was going to pit but decided to stay out one more lap. The right front tire blew and he hit the wall in turn two. PM: #41-Reed Sorenson spun and backed into the wall. #16-Greg Biffle slapped the right side of his Ford into the turn two wall, but did not re-injure his sore right shoulder. #72-Brandon Whitt blown motor in the final hour [reported by NASCAR, denied by the team, says they didn’t blow an engine]. #9-Kasey Kahne flattened the right side of his car between turns three and four.
