Stewart has no plans to run Indy 500 again:

Tony Stewart’s efforts to win the Indianapolis 500 appear to have ended. Asked about whether or not he’d ever run in the event again, the former open-wheel star who has won two NASCAR Cup championships said that he wouldn’t completely rule it out, but he couldn’t really envision it. “I’ve learned to never say never, but I look at my life as a book, and it’s kind of like it’s a chapter that’s either on its last page or almost closed,” Stewart said. “My [Joe Gibbs Racing] contract takes me to 39, and I don’t see myself getting back into IndyCar at the age of 39.”(SceneDaily.com)(2-10-2007)
