Both the NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch Series will run the same combination of left- and right-side tires at Darlington this weekend . . . this is the first time that Goodyear has brought out this tire setup, and Darlington is the only track at which these tire codes are scheduled to be run in 2007 . . . this setup was tested at Darlington by Greg Biffle, Dave Blaney, Jeff Gordon and Reed Sorenson in mid-March . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Darlington . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire. Estimated pit window is every 45-50 laps, based on fuel mileage.(Goodyear PR), see full report and codes on the Darlington Race Info / Rundown Page.(5-11-2007)
