Ron Hornaday in the #33-Camping World Chevy held off AJ Allmendinger with 36 laps to go in the Quaker Steak and Lube 200 on Friday night. Hornaday, known as the “master of restarts,” held off Allmendinger on two more restarts, including a green-white-checkered finish. This is his first win at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Hornaday has now extended his career record of Truck Series wins to 30. Rick Ren also set a new record with his first win at Charlotte, for the crew chief in the Truck Series with the most wins with a different driver (five).This was also Chevy’s first win of the 2007 season in the Truck Series.(Kevin Harvick Inc PR)(5-21-2007)
