Joe Nemcheck spoke about the change at Ginn this morning on “The Morning Drive,” on SIRIUS Radio, with hosts Pat Patterson and David Poole: On his release: “It’s very disappointing but part of the business is it takes a lot of dollars to make these Cup teams go ’round and it seems like it never stops. We’ve been seeking sponsorships for a long period of time and we’ve actually got a lot of things going right now so you never know. If one of these deals hits you never know what’s going to happen.” “I don’t think that Bobby and Jay ever thought it was going to be that hard to find sponsors. It says a lot for the people who are working at Ginn and we’ve been able to accomplish a lot and to see it all kind of stop and go away, whatever may happen with the points, it’s just disappointing.” “We’ve got a lot of sponsorship deals in the works. I think we’re getting really close to getting my Busch operation back up and running. Hopefully, heck, I’d like to run a limited schedule. We haven’t been able to do that the last couple of years just because of not being able to find funds. I think we’re getting close to that. There’s a lot of good Cup rides out there. There’s a lot of stuff going on.”(Sirius PR)(7-18-2007)
