Road-course ace Marc Goosens is practicing the #38 Robert Yates Racing Ford of David Gilliland. Gilliland scraped the wall and made only one lap of practice Friday. Gilliland likely will practice in the second session and race the car, Goosens said. “They want to know where they are at with the car and get a good read on it,” said Goosens, who made his Cup debut last year at The Glen with RYR and planned to race here this year but sponsorship fell through with the #91 Riley-D’Hondt team. “I’m going to try to help them out. … I don’t think [I’m racing].
