Most teenagers cannot wait until they reach the age when they are able to hopefully get their drivers license but for 16-year-old Hooters ProCup driver Trevor Bayne from Knoxville, his 18th birthday is the date he has his sights set on. That is the date the Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI) development driver is scheduled to launch his career in the Busch Series during Speedweeks at Daytona. Next year,[2008 we go in house. That will be a good deal with the Busch East program and then well go to the Busch Series the following year (when he turns 18). Its a long term contract. For now, Bayne is working in the shop at DEI while continuing to race in the Hooters ProCup Series.(Bristol Herald Courier)(8-22-2007)
