Patrick Carpentier was introduced to the media today at a press conference prior to the Montreal Canadiens game at the Bell Centre. Foster Gillett welcomed Carpentier on behalf of the Gillett family, who owns the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club and recently purchased ownership in Gillett Evernham Motorsports. There is tremendous local support for our hometown sports figures here in Quebec and Canada, said Foster Gillett. That is why we wanted to introduce Patrick to the local media and fans here at the Bell Centre. These past few months have been a dream come true for me, said Carpentier, driver of the #10 Dodge Avenger [in 2008]. I look forward to working with the Gillett family, Ray Evernham and my teammates Kasey Kahne and Elliott Sadler.
