Been told that BAM Racing plans to field a “Diamond Driven” Dodge Charger with veteran driver Ken Schrader for both the Bud Shootout and the Daytona 500 with David Hyder as the crew chief and engines by Evernham Motorsports.(1-13-2008) UPDATE: Ken Schrader is among the 31 drivers on hand for the second Sprint Cup test session today through Wednesday at Daytona International Speedway. Schrader, who is eligible to compete in the Budweiser Shootout, confirmed Monday morning that he would run the Speed Weeks events for BAM Racing and also will do the tests at California and Las Vegas later this month. “We’re just going to see what happens,” said Schrader, who owns his own race team and often races at short tracks across the country. “The only thing I know for sure is I’m going to race every weekend this year.
