As NASCAR drivers prepare to race the high banks of Daytona International Speedway and also to launch their new sponsor commercials, SPEED will air NASCAR in 30 Seconds, a special program celebrating the sport’s most memorable TV ads and looking ahead to the drivers’ new 2008 campaigns. The one-hour special premieres on Feb. 7 at 9pm/et, and will be re-broadcast several times during Speedweeks leading into the Daytona 500. NASCAR in 30 Seconds, hosted by Rutledge Wood, will revisit classic NASCAR TV ads of yesteryear, show previously unseen bloopers and behind-the-scenes footage from ad shoots, and preview several NASCAR and sponsor spots that will air on the Fox telecast of the 2008 Daytona 500 NASCAR in 30 Seconds is produced by NASCAR Media Group. The show culminates with an in-depth behind-the-scenes peak at the making of Tony Stewart’s new commercial for Toyota, which is the presenting sponsor of the program.(SPEED)(2-7-2008)
