Ricky Pearsons year wont be spent the way he originally planned. Dont think thatll keep him away from the racetrack, though. Pearson had been working for Boiling Springs-based McGill Motorsports. But that team, sponsorless, will be out of action this year as it tries to retool for 2009. So, in the meantime, Pearsons got a new gig. #30-Stanton Barrett, a Hollywood stuntman/extreme sportsman turned stockcar driver, hired Pearson to be his crew chief for this season. Barrett, team owner of Stanton Barrett Motorsports, will attempt about 15 to 17 races on the Nationwide Series formerly the Busch Series and four or five Sprint Cup events.
