#18-Kyle Busch won the Coors Light Pole for the UAW-Dodge 400 at his hometown track, Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a speed of 182.352mph for his 1st pole of 2008 and the 3rd of his career. #99-Carl Edwards [who won the last race at Calif] qualified second with the rest of the top-10 being: #8-Martin, #24-Gordon, #27-Skinner [best of the go-or-go homers], #16-Biffle, #66-Riggs, #88-Earnhardt Jr., #2-Busch and #19-Sadler. 2007 Cup champ qualified 33rd. The non-top 35 teams that made the race were: #27-Skinner, #2-Busch, #10-Carpentier, #00-Reutimann, #44-Jarrett, #49-Schrader, #55-Waltrip and #83-Vickers [gets the final spot on speed since the past champs prov was not needed by Busch or Jarrett].
