Saturday’s Kroger 250 Craftsman Truck Series race will give many rookie truck series drivers their first glimpse of Martinsville’s long straight-aways and sharp turns. Among them will be 27-year-old Scott Lagasse Jr. in the #20 JTG Racing [Nicholson Group] Ford. Lagasse, son of Scott Lagasse Sr., a former Craftsman Truck Series driver, is not new to racing. Lagasse has piloted a few Nationwide Series cars in the past and competed in several other truck races over the years, but has never competed at Martinsville Speedway.
