in the Sprint Cup Series history when #10-Patrick Carpentier won the pole at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The other driver was Lloyd Shaw, from Toronto, Canada. Shaw won the pole at Langhorne, PA in June 1953 and finished 23rd in his only Cup start.(6-29-2008)
