#10-Patrick Carpentier was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the July 5 Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Carpentier scored a 14th-place finish, his best in 18 Sprint Cup Series races, and took Raybestos Rookie of the Race honors for the second time this season. For the second consecutive race, Two Raybestos Rookies qualified in the top-10. #01-Regan Smith started eighth in the Coke Zero 400 while Carpentier grabbed the 10th-place starting position. Carpentier won the pole for the June 29 LENOX Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway while Dario Franchitti claimed the seventh-place starting position. Regan Smith leads #77-Sam Hornish Jr. by three points (167-164) in the Raybestos Rookie standings entering the July 12 LifeLock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. Kevin Harvick is the only Raybestos Rookie to win in seven Sprint Cup races at Chicagoland. He won the 2001 LifeLock.com 400 by .649 seconds over Robert Pressley. He is also the only Raybestos Rookie to lead the most laps in a race at Chicagoland, leading the 2001 event five times for 113 laps. The record number for Raybestos Rookies to finish inside the top-10 at Chicagoland is three in 2006: Reed Sorenson (seventh), Clint Bowyer (ninth) and J.J. Yeley (10th).
