Premier Racing, with driver Timothy Peters, will be putting its brand new #17 team on the track at the Built Ford Tough 225 at Kentucky Speedway on July 19th in an effort to raise awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Premier Racing will display the LLS logo on its truck. “We decided weeks ago that we would like to use our truck at Kentucky to help promote a worthy cause, and LLS is one that is helping to save lives everyday,” commented Premier team owner Philip Hudgins. Hudgins went on to say, “Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20. Being a father and grandparent, I could not think of a more worthwhile cause to support.” The team will be competing in its second race of the season and is very confident they can put on a good show for the fans.(Premier Racing PR)(7-16-2008)
