Ted Christopher has been in negotiations to drive the second entry for Billy Ballew Motorsports in the Craftsman Truck Series New Hampshire 200 on Sept. 13 at NHMS. “They called me about a month ago,” Christopher said. “We’re pretty close. I talked to them the other day and asked them if this was still a reality deal if we came up with the money and they said yes. He said they still want me to drive there.” Christopher, a longtime regular on the Whelen Modified Tour and the all-time winningest driver at Stafford Motor Speedway, has made numerous starts in Sprint Cup events at New Hampshire, but always in low end equipment for car owners just looking to get starting money. With Ballew Motorsports Christopher would be in equipment likely capable of running up front.(Hartford Courant)(8-2-2008)
UPDATE: Ergon Racing and Marc Mitchell are not scheduled to be in the #15 in Loudon and Martinsville. The team will be making an announcement in the near future as to who will be driving in those two events.(Billy Ballew Motorsports PR)(8-3-2008)
