#99-Carl Edwards won the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway for his 4th win of 2008 and 11th of his career. #20-Stewart was 2nd, followed by #48-Johnson, #29-Harvick, #6-Ragan, #07-Bowyer, #9-Kahne, #8-Martin, #26-McMurray and #24-Gordon. #88-Earnhardt Jr. ran out of fuel and finished 12th and points leader, #18-Busch was running 4th with 2 laps to go and made a pit stop for a splash of gas, took a while to get the car re-started and finished 35th. There was a 41 minutes red flag for rain from 4:51pm to 5:32pm/et. Then a few laps under yellow not long after that but then the rains went away and the race finished all 200 laps.
