#10-Patrick Carpentier was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the August 10 Centurion Boats at The Glen at Watkins Glen International. Carpentier scored a 20th-place finish and claimed top rookie honors for the fourth time in the last five races and for the fifth time this season. #01-Regan Smith leads #77-Sam Hornish Jr. by three points (176-173) in the Raybestos Rookie standings entering the August 17 3M Performance 400 at Michigan International Speedway. The best finish by a Raybestos Rookie in the August race at Michigan (since 1975) is a third place effort by Tony Stewart in 1999.
