Veteran driver Bobby Hamilton, Jr. for the first time in nearly ten years is without a ride as the 2009 NASCAR season opens up in Daytona Beach, FL. Efforts to locate sponsorship for Hamilton have fallen short this offseason. Even though he will not need his driver’s suit, the Tennessee native still plans to spend next week at Daytona International Speedway. For now his only role will be as a co-owner of Rensi-Hamilton Racing with Eric McClure behind the wheel and as the owner of the ARCA car driven by Chase Mattioli.(2-4-2009)
