Brian Ickler was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the June 13 Michigan 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Ickler scored a third-place finish, his best in five NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races. He collected his second top-five and second top-10 of the 2009 season and grabbed Raybestos Rookie of the Race honors for the first time this season. Ickler won his first career pole position at Michigan, joining Jamie McMurray (2000) as the only Raybestos Rookie pole winners in 10 previous races. He has qualified inside the top-10 in four of his five starts. A Raybestos Rookie has won the pole position for last two consecutive races: Johnny Sauter at Texas Motor Speedway (race No. 8) and Ickler at Michigan. Tayler Malsam scored a sixth-place finish, his best in 11 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts and his fourth top-10 this season. Malsam leads Sauter by two points (98-96) in the Raybestos Rookie standings entering the June 19 Copart 200 at The Milwaukee Mile.
