Gary Bechtel announced the addition of his son to the Bechtel Racing team. Blake Bechtel will come on board as the Vice President of Operations. He will assist in day-to-day activities of Bechtel Racing and help in the search of a sponsor for the 2010 season. Bechtel Racing is currently working with Michael Waltrip Racing in a partnership to put Trevor Bayne behind the wheel for a total of 12 NASCAR Nationwide Series races this season. Bechtel Racing is seeking a full-time sponsor for Trevor Bayne in the 2010 season. The team would like to compete in all 35 NASCAR Nationwide Series races next season and hopefully run for the championship. Bayne has driven MWR’s #99 Toyota in six NNS race this season with a 6.6 starting average and a 16.3 finishing average, including last weekend’s pole position and career best-finish of seventh at O’Reilly Raceway Park.(Everest Marketing Group PR)(7-27-2009)
