During the race broadcast on SPEEDtv it was reported that MRD may miss the next couple of races due to lack of sponsorship. Following a 6th place finish at Chicagoland driver Dennis Setzer, currently sits 8th in the driver point standings. However, as of right now, Setzer is not sure if he will be at the track either.(8-28-2009)
UPDATE: Sources confirmed that the #8-Malcolmson Construction Chevy will not be making the trip to either Iowa or Gateway. There are other races planned later in the year, but those two races are not on the radar. So far Dennis Setzer does not have a ride with another team lined up, and will not be making the trip to Iowa.(8-31-2009)
