Stringer Motorsports is pleased to announce that USAC open-wheel sensation, Brad Sweet, will pilot the #90 Great Clips Toyota Tundra in a select number of races during the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck (NCWTS) season. This weekend at Phoenix International Raceway, the 23-year-old will get a jump start on his new endeavor with Stringer Motorsports by making his series debut behind the wheel of the Great Clips-sponsored truck in Friday evening’s Lucas Oil 150. The Grass Valley, Calif.-native, made his stock car debut in July, racing in the ARCA RE/MAX Series race at Kentucky Speedway for Stringer Motorsports. Tentative plans call for Sweet to compete in the following NCWTS races in 2010. He will continue to run in the World of Outlaws series next season in events that do not conflict with his NCWTS events for Stringer Motorsports. Races include: Dover International Speedway (May 14), Lowe’s [Charlotte] Motor Speedway (May 21), The Milwaukee Mile (June 18), Gateway International Raceway (July 16), O’Reilly Raceway Park (July 23), Bristol Motor Speedway (August 18), Phoenix International Raceway (November 12), Homestead-Miami Speedway (November 19).(Stringer Motorsports PR)(11-12-2009)
