Raybestos Rookie News & Notes – Homestead:


*Johnny Sauter was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the November 13 Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix (Avondale, Ariz.) Int’l Raceway. Sauter claimed a fifth-place finish, his seventh top-five and 12th top-10 of the 2009 season. He scored the second consecutive top-five by a Raybestos Rookie at Phoenix. Sauter grabbed top rookie honors for the third consecutive race and for the 13th time this season.
*Sauter leads Tayler Malsam by 43 points (223-180) in the Raybestos Rookie standings entering the November 20 Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway.
*Sauter is fifth in the series championship standings, best of any Raybestos Rookie. He is 84 points behind fourth-place Todd Bodine and 13 ahead of sixth-place Brian Scott.
*Sauter won the pole at Phoenix, his second in 35 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races. He also nabbed the top starting spot earlier this season at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (race No. 20). Sauter became the first Raybestos Rookie pole winner in 17 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at Phoenix.
*The 2009 Raybestos Rookie class have won three pole positions this season: Sauter (Las Vegas and Phoenix) and Brian Ickler (Milwaukee).
*The only Raybestos Rookie to win in 13 previous races at Homestead is Kenny Irwin. Irwin captured the 1997 Ford 200 by .289 seconds over Mike Bliss.
* David Reutimann (2004) is the only Raybestos Rookie to win a pole in 13 previous NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Homestead.
