Braun Racing and former driver Burney Lamar have resolved an issue over his compensation, according to documents filed recently in North Carolina Superior Court. Lamar had filed a lawsuit Dec. 11 claiming the team owed him $54,908 but then dismissed the lawsuit Dec. 16. The team claimed that the final check had been sent to Lamar before it even knew the lawsuit was filed.Lamar, who was scheduled to drive in 18 Nationwide Series races in 2009 but ended up competing in only nine (with one top-10 finish), had a base salary of $105,000, according to the complaint.(SceneDaily)(12-29-2009)
