MRD close to sponsorship UPDATE Johns as driver?

Statement from Dave Malcolmson: “MRD Motorsports does not currently have sponsorship for the 2010 season. However, the #8 team is working with a driver and a unique marketing program and feel confident that we will have sponsorship in place shortly. It is unclear if we will commence at Daytona or start after missing the first few races. When the MRD team does show up it will be for the balance of the 2010 season and hopefully we will carry the sponsorship into the 2011 season. On a separate path, we are working on a program that will not start until mid year. If we successfully put this program in place we will field a second team commencing mid-year.”(MRD Motorsports)(1-18-2010)
