UPDATE: Team Gill Racing has announced that Geoff Bodine will be driving its #95 Dodge Ram at the Camping World Truck Series event on March 6th in Atlanta. Bodine will return to Atlanta Motor Speedway where his name remains in the record books. Bodine’s speed of 197.478 mph during the NASACAR Sprint Cup qualifying in November of 1997 is the fastest one-lap speed ever recorded at Atlanta Motor Speedway. While Team Gill Racing continues searching for a full season sponsor, they plan to add a salute to the U.S.A. Olympic Bobsled team on the #95 Dodge Ram for their efforts at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. Bodine will be joined by Dennis Setzer in the #46 Dodge Ram for Team Gill Racing in Atlanta. UPDATE 2: In a nod to the U.S. Olympic bobsled medalists and his pastime, NASCAR veteran Geoffrey Bodine will compete in the E-Z-GO 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the #95 Bo-Dyn Bobsled paint scheme featuring the U.S. Olympic bobsled medalists, including Douglasville, Georgia’s Elana Meyers who won a bronze medal. A Bo-Dyn Bobsled will be on display in front of the Fan Stage in the Display Lot and the vehicle will arrive at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Wednesday, March 3.(Atlanta Motor Speedway PR)(3-2-2010)
