Wingo replaced as Ragan’s crew chief? UPDATES:

Hearing that Donnie Wingo is no longer the crew chief for #6-David Ragan and that Drew Blickensderfer moves up from Roush’s Nationwide program as Carl Edwards crew chief, with Mike Beam taking over there. No word on Wingo’s plans.(9-21-2010)
UPDATE: Jack Roush has promoted Drew Blickensderfer once again. Blickensderfer will return to the Sprint Cup Series this time on top of the #6 UPS Ford pitbox for driver David Ragan, sources told FOXSports.com. Most recently Blickensderfer was crew chief for Carl Edwards and the #60 in the Nationwide Series. Blickensderfer replaces Donnie Wingo, who joined the organization in 2008 as Jamie McMurray’s crew chief. He was reassigned to Ragan’s team at the end of last season. Veteran Mike Beam is expected to replace Blickensderfer atop the box for the #60 Nationwide Series team.(Fox Sports)(9-22-2010)
UPDATE 2: Roush Fenway Racing has announced that Drew Blickensderfer will take over as crew chief on the #6 Sprint Cup team with driver David Ragan effective immediately. Mike Beam will replace Blickensderfer as crew chief of the #60 Nationwide Team, with driver Carl Edwards. Beam had previously served as competition director of Roush Fenway’s Nationwide program. With the move Blickensderfer returns to the Sprint Cup series where he served as Matt Kenseth’s crew chief in 2009, leading the #17 Sprint Cup team to two victories, including the famed Daytona 500. In addition to wins in the Sprint Cup Series at Daytona and California, Blickensderfer boasts 12 wins in the Nationwide Series. In 2008 he guided Edwards’ team to a Nationwide Series runner-up finish and in 2006 he helped Danny O’Quinn Jr. capture the Nationwide Raybestos Rookie Award. Beam, a 30-year NASCAR veteran, has served at Roush Fenway as a crew chief in the Camping World Truck Series and Nationwide Series.
