The Nationwide Series goes to Gateway for the final time next week, and with the Sprint Cup Series at Martinsville Speedway, three drivers who have been doing double duty this season will continue that effort. #22-Brad Keselowski, #60-Carl Edwards and #98-Paul Menard will have development drivers from their organizations in their Nationwide cars for practice Friday and qualifying Saturday morning at Gateway while they practice their Cup cars at Martinsville. Penske Racings Parker Kligerman will drive Keselowskis car, Roush Fenways Erik Darnell will drive for Edwards and Roush Fenways Colin Braun will drive for Menard. In addition to practicing for Edwards at Martinsville, Darnell will practice for Edwards in many of the final Nationwide practices the rest of the year to allow Edwards to concentrate on his Cup car. Edwards, who is 384 points behind Keselowski with five races remaining, will practice in the first session each weekend but Darnell will take over for the second practice. Brad Coleman will replace Kyle Busch in the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing car and Matt DiBenedetto will replace Joey Logano in the #20 JGR car. Busch will drive his Kyle Busch Motorsports truck in the race Saturday at Martinsville. Driving for Kevin Harvick Inc. in the #33 car will be Mike Bliss as Harvick will drive in the truck race at Martinsville. Driving for JR Motorsports in the #88 car will be Josh Wise as Aric Almirola will run in the truck race as well. James Buescher, who has driven for Braun Racing the last few weeks, will be in Martinsville for the truck race. Brad Sweet will drive the #11 Braun Racing car while it has not been determined who will drive the #10 car. For Roush Fenway Racing, Trevor Bayne will drive the#16 car, and the organization will not send to Gateway its #17 car that Bayne has driven the last three weeks.(Scene Daily)(10-17-2010)
