Eddie Sharp, owner of Eddie Sharp Racing, announced team plans for the remainder of the 2010 season today. Craig Goess, runner-up in the 2010 ARCA Racing Series championship chase, will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut on Oct. 30, 2010 at Talladega Superspeedway. The team also plans to run with Goess at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 19. Goess, a 29-year-old driver from Greenville, N.C., raced this season in the ARCA Racing Series. Driving the No. 81 Greenville Toyota of N.C. Eddie Sharp Racing Toyota, Goess competed in one of the closest championship battles in series history. Goess finished second in the standings, 25 points back. Truck will be a Toyota; number TBA; crew chief will be Johnny Allen.(ESR/Activ8 PR)(10-11-2010)

UPDATE 2: During SPEEDtv’s NASCAR Race Hub broadcast last evening, Eddie Sharp and Craig Goess reiterated and formally announced plans to run full time in 2011. The team will field the #46 Toyota Tundra for Craig Goess to run full-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series; trucks to be supplied by Kyle Busch Motorsports.(11-10-2010)
