Salute the Troops on #62:

This weekend, Rusty Wallace Racing and team sponsors 5-Hour Energy, Avery Graphics and South Point Hotel & Casino will proudly launch a salute to America’s men and women in uniform, during the NASCAR Nationwide Series season finale in Homestead, FL. As part of Avery Graphics’ “Supercast My Ride” design contest, the #66 5-Hour Energy car, driven by Steve Wallace, will feature a special digitally-printed vinyl wrap, titled “Salute the Troops.” The scheme, designed by contest winner Daniel Wayne Logue of Lincoln, NE, is fashioned to appear like a World War II-era fighter, complete with nose art and the teeth made famous by Claire Lee Chennault’s “Flying Tigers.” (RWI), see an image of the car on the #66 team paint schemes page.(11-18-2010)
