Joey Saldana passed race leader Donny Schatz on the final corner to win a thrilling 35-lap Sprintcar International at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway last night. Saldana, who started out of position six, trailed leader Schatz through lapped traffic as the laps dwindled. Tony Stewart continued his good form in the international series with a third placing after he earlier figured in an exciting battle with Schatz.(Tyrepower Sydney Speedway)(12-31-2010)
