Kurt Busch wins the Bud Shootout:

#22-Kurt Busch won the 2011 Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway for his first ever win at Daytona or in the Bud Shootout and first Bud Shootout for Dodge. A four pack run at the end had #11-Denny Hamlin passing #39-Ryan Newman, but Hamlin passed under the yellow line and was penalized to the end of the lead lap cars, which was 12th. Busch and Hamlin would had been a photo finish, but with the penalty, Busch got the win. #1-McMurray was 2nd, followed by #39-Newman, #48-Johnson, #16-Biffle, #24-Gordon, #31-Burton [led the most laps with 32], #33-Bowyer and #47-Labonte. Pole sitter, #88-Earnhardt Jr. was involved in a six car wreck at the beginning of the 2nd segment and finished 19th. There were 28 lead changes among 9 drivers and 4 cautions for 12 laps.
